By Cristina Sala and Quim Riera: “Barcelona has a great hidden treasure: works of art located in its streets. They are pieces by great international artists, but we often pass by them without realizing they exist. Today we learned about the collective art project Baldosas por el mundo (Baldoses around the world) , an initiative by architect Joan Juncosa to revalue the beauty of public spaces. The artist paints modernist fabric tiles and leaves them in different places around the city, inviting citizens to unhook them and place them in their favorite places in the world.”
