It all started as a game. More than a year ago, when he couldn't leave the house, Joan decided to let his art travel through him. He was inspired by the hydraulic floors of Barcelona "floors that we walk on every day and that he wanted to turn into a work of art." “art” and began hanging his pieces around the city, so that whoever found them could keep them, with one simple condition “that they send him a photo of their favorite place”
Little by little, his pieces began to disappear from the walls, and over time, he began to receive photos of his art spread around Paris, San Francisco and Istanbul. This is how #baldosasporelmundo was born, an interactive urban art project.
Now Joan presents himself as an artist, with a consolidated project. This time, he will welcome us at Canal Gallery, with a collection that culminates a story, that of #baldosasporelmundo, his story. A project that speaks of beauty, of art, of colour, of the city and its people.
In it we will find some of his most legendary pieces together with the large formats he has been working with recently.
During the month of September you can find his collection at Canal Gallery, a reference gallery for urban art in Barcelona.
